When you create an account, we collect your email address, username, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). When you use TrackIt, we store job application data you enter, uploaded resume files, and usage counts to enforce free-tier limits.
Your data is used solely to provide the TrackIt service — tracking your job applications, generating AI-powered cover letters, and scoring your resume against ATS criteria. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Uploaded resume files are stored securely on TrackIt Infrastructure. Files are associated with your account and are not accessible to other users. You may delete your tracked application thus deleting your resume at any time from your profile page.
When you request a cover letter or ATS scan, relevant content (job description, resume text) is sent to TrackIt partners for processing. This data is used only to generate your requested output and is not retained by TrackIt beyond the session.
TrackIt uses session cookies to keep you logged in. Thses cookies are only for authentication purposes, We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at trackit-contact@mail.masss.dev.
We apply industry-standard security measures including password hashing, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and HTTPS.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of TrackIt after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
